A Voice in the Industry

Membership Dues
The annual membership fee for OARI is $100 for Full Membership (Licensed Opticians) and $50 for Retired Opticians and Students/Apprentices and covers the membership year from January 1st to December 31st. Periodically, OARI will offer bundled Continuing Education + Membership packages at special events or promotions. Please note that membership dues are separate from your licensing fees paid to the Rhode Island Department of Health.
As a non-profit organization, OARI’s mission is to improve the Profession, and all dues and contributions go directly toward supporting this mission. Members have a vested interest in how funds are allocated, and we ensure that your contributions are used to support advocacy, educational programs, legislative efforts, marketing initiatives, and more.
